The International Journal of Biobased Plastics (ISSN: 2475-9651) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal that publishes reviews as well as original works; we welcome the submission of articles in the subject and areas in line with chemistry, physics and structural design for all functional polymeric materials made from renewable resources and/or with degradability for use as commodity or engineering materials. Fundamental and applied research, both theoretical and experimental, are covered. The aim of International Journal of Biobased Plastics is to further the knowledge and research in biobased plastics, covering thermoplastics, elastomers, and thermosets, focussing on bioplastics, i.e. engineering materials rather than naturally occurring macromolecules: their production, characterization, and degradation.
